Attorney

Robert Chen

Construction and land use. The drawings and the contract have to agree.

Robert is of counsel. He takes the construction and land-use files that need an engineer who later became a lawyer — draw schedules, change-order fights, and the moment a site plan and a purchase agreement stop matching. He works out of Raleigh three days a week and on video the other two.

He spent a decade as a project engineer in the Bay Area before law school, then twelve years at a construction boutique. He joined Harrow & Vale in 2018 so he could take fewer files and finish them. He still carries a scale ruler in his briefcase, which the associates find either charming or alarming.
