Priya Desai

Priya joined as a senior associate in 2012 and made partner in 2017. She runs the commercial purchase and land-use files — the ones with a lender, a tenant, and a planning-board date that will not move. Her diligence calendars are the ones clients forward to their partners with the subject line “this is how it should look.”

She appears regularly before Charlotte’s planning commission and has walked more than forty rezoning hearings to a vote. She mentors the firm’s two newest associates and teaches a night class on title at Central Piedmont.
