Camila Ortiz

Camila runs the residential closing desk in Charlotte — the files that close on a Friday because the title exception was cured on a Tuesday. She writes the firm’s title opinions and is the person lenders call when a survey shows a fence three feet into the neighbor.

She joined in 2019 after a clerkship with the Mecklenburg County Clerk of Court. She holds the monthly first-time-buyer clinic at the Main Library and is the reason our Spanish-language closing packets exist.
